One sunny Monday, I was booking ticket for two in Makemytrip. And I noticed an offer of Rs 2000 instant discount on makemytrip icici credit card. I applied for the card. Not exactly believed, it will be issued (as I have experiences with HDFC and HSBC), but it almost literally fell on my lap. No phone call, no new kyc or cibil check.
This discount is applicable only on blue Mondays. Otherwise card more or less looks useless.
With SBI cashback, Tata Neu Infinity, Amazon pay, I may get better return (depending where I book from). Card fees is just one time payment of Rs 500. Is it worth activating it?
