At the end of the day , it's just a card.
Cancel kr rh krne do, dusra use kro.
Market me flipkart jaise cards ki kami Hai kya 😀
Combined with GrabDeals, it gives more than 5%. I dunno which other cards besides some Amex give more than 5% any time we want (without festive/instant discount offers) on Flipkart (which others do have regularly - BOB, SBI, RBL, OneCard etc). Have always struggled to get more than 5% on Flipkart without these offers running. HDFC Millennia has capping of ₹1000 cashback.

I have seen offline mobile stores opening mobiles in Flipkart packaging and selling it to customers. It is highly probable that they will be using Axis FK for unlimited cashback. I saw multiple phones with FK packaging but none with Amazon. If someone is ordering 4-5 mobiles every month, it will be definitely on the radar.

Axis cards division has burnt a lot of money to scale users and is now trying to be profitable.

Anyone stopping them or trying to be a barricade will be uprooted, cancelled, sued and so on.
Do not misuse and even use their cards adequately within limits and always keep purchase proofs ready, they can be asked if you're earning too many points.

What is the definition of fair usage? If I remember correctly, someone reported that they were even asked for invoice for 500 Rs Hakka noodles they had a at a local restaurant, among other invoices.

Even recently, accounts of many Atlas users were blocked without notice or email. After raising a request, accounts were unblocked and users were informed that it was a technical glitch.

Nobody is against Axis trying to curb exploiters but the way they go about is anti-consumer and non-professional. There are no guidelines on correct use vs misuse. Some extreme cases may be evident but it hard to judge for all use cases. One might feel that they are using the card fairly but in the end might receive notice as it may constitute unfair usage from bank's perspective. The only option would be to collect invoice for all purchases made on Axis. Some people may be fine collecting invoices for all purchases but everyone may not hold the same view.

Hey thanks for the detailed explanation. Nope wasn't aware since I don't have any Amex and am confused about which Amex card to get, even the names and the whole reward points system confuses me, but this is a good start.

When you give away too many reward points by being extra lenient.

You gotta be extra careful and extra stingy on the policies, so the fairness level of Axis is way below than what you and me would think fair.
The golden days people exploited Magnus like crazy and got too many international trips for free so it's time for Axis to take revenge on the users that got inspired by looking at all those early users.

(Eventually, the Axis' evil arc will slow down as the start to forget the old exploits and start seeing in some profits but might take a little while)

Amex is the easiest of the lot.
1) Redemption is quick and easy
2) Most of the accelerated points through gyftr gets credited upon transaction settlement and you can use them before statement generation unlike HDFC
3) Reward system is simple and uncapped
4) You can convert your points for statement credit, direct purchases online offline, vouchers , experiences , air miles , hotels loyalty.

Cons
1) Offline acceptance is still challenging
2) The ecosystem is addictive and you are most likely going to get into the referrals promotion just like others 😜😜

That being said Amex cards especially Gold charge for low spends and plat travel for medium spends can be a good alternative and definitely a must have for everyone.

So what's the optimum annual usage to reap the minimum and maximum benefit out of mrcc? And reward rate?

I would have to reconsider my decision then it seems 😆
