Massive CIBIL Drop - Strange

CIBIL dropped from 811 to 769 with one Home Loan enquiry.. I had checked simulator and it didn't show any drop.. Quite surprised.. Hope it bounces back!! anyone else has experienced this??

Have you recently chosen EMI option on any card?
I have personally experienced this, where my credit score dropped slightly after I opted for the EMI option.

However, my credit utilization ratio was still at 21% and my score dropped from 757 to 743.

Notably, in the last three months, there have been only two inquiries and one new account added. Credit age - 4y6m

It is hovering between 760 to 778.

Yes. It appears as if some algorithm fine tuning thing is going on in CIBIL. 804 to 786. It should have been around 800.

Not that it matters. But, surprised to see the drop.

yes.. hope so tooo.. looking for HL... now rethinking if i shd explore any other bank.. cant afford another hit.. quite surprised with this drop
