Master thread - Credit card Reward redemption fees/charges for all cards

Many times we accumulate rewards on our cards and go ahead and redeem only to realise that there is a charge for redemption.

Hence I thought of creating a thread that lists out the reward redemption charges for all banks / cards.


This is a wiki post. Please feel free to edit/ comment for any changes / suggestions.


ICICI cards - Rs. 99 + get
AU bank - Rs. 99+gst
Idfc - Rs.99+gst
HDFC - Rs. 99 + gst ( Rs.50+gst for
statement CB)

RBL - Rs. 99 + gst
SBI - Rs. 99 + gst
Standard chartered - Rs. 99 + gst
BOB cards - NIL
Amex - NIL
Federal - NIL
Hsbc - NIL
Axis - NIL
Kotak - NIL
Yes bank - NIL

IndusInd if redeemed using Pay with rewards there is no redemption fee else 100+GST

Can we also list rewards expiry in the same way (from the date of credit)
Some like Yes Bank and Amex don't expire.
Many banks ,like HDFC, are valid for a year, I think?

yes, it also shows 0 redemption charge for simplyclick.

It is applicable only on statement cash redemption
