Axis Atlas Miles not Credited

Hi TFC,

I purchased a laptop from Reliance Digital on Sep 30 via my Atlas Card. There was an instant discount of 6k on Axis Cards.

I was checking and noticed that I have not received the Miles for this transaction yet. However, Even miles for transactions done after 30th September have been credited.

What could be an issue here?

Solution
Yes. This is a jewellery transaction!! Sh*tty reliance
You need to swipe 1 rupee and phone the customer care to find out MCC code.
Always do this at any new shop/merchant or whenever you are in doubt.

For routine transactions where you know the MCC code and you are getting regular cashback or points, there is no need to do that.

Kindly mark this as your solution thanks 🙏
Does anybody know if axis give reward points in case there is an instant discount applied for axis card? I heard HDFC has stopped giving reward points in such cases.

In case of hdfc and sbi Instant discount is stopped only in case of online shopping in flipkart and amazon not on pos or other online or offline etc. Axis gives rewards if instant discount is available also. (But there is no discounts avaliable, no offers like 3 years back what axis would have given)

Have lost hope with Axis. In the past 6 months, only 50% of the time I have got Miles; many a time. they have credited but then reversed. Since I am in the Gold tier, planning to use it this year and close the card before the next renewal

Kindly note everything will come under exception, end of the day credit card will become just credit and nothing else. (In india you can't earn money for such a large population and less defaulters because people are aware of such and it's next to impossible for high end card defaulters who knows very well what to do.) Hence credit card will be just credit nothing else either use it or leave it, bank won't care.

+1 for this comment from my side....I will basically stop tracking each and every transaction....As per my experience, the Error in tracking for AMEX, HDFC and SBI, ICICI Amazon is virtually nil....Hence, Just swipe these cards and forget...whatever I am getting is extra...
That is why I will avoid, AXIS, RBL etc where we get frequent issues...
Ultimately for my use of below 10L, I am not concerned about optimization that much...When I have HDFC Regalia Gold, Amex Trifecta and SBI Cashback and Airtel Axis, ICICI Amazon.....I will concentrate on these 7 cards only...only 1 card I miss that is HSBC live+ but I will not get it as my pin code is not servicable....Also HDFC Infinia I am not eligible..That card also I want...and If my lifestyle goes to that level, after finishing the Amex PT and MRCC (6.4L) SBI Cashback (12L) Airtel Axis (1L), other expenditure I will put into Amex Platinum Charge (but this should be minimum of 50L)...I am not sure to go that level...before that extra expenditure I will put on HDFC Regalia Gold and If I get Infinia, then on Infinia...
For Hotel, I will focus long term on Marriott membership ladder (although costly but I can handle the basic room cost with the help of AMEX)...Anything else, low-cost hotel or any other hotel-chain I will book directly through my cash only or may be points from HDFC cards...
Thats my whole plan for now..
And when everything else will stop, I will enjoy the interest free period and earn some interest for that period....
