Issue Resolved Mobikwik failed UPI txn not reversed - RBI Ombudsman - Query

The highlighted issue has been resolved by the bank/financial institution.

Why NPCI usually uploads scanned copy as PDF, instead of original PDF, electronic copy?
 
Update - Got a call from Mobikwik support now. It went like this

"Calling from social media team, we had asked for beneficiary bank statement in our last communication. And we also saw your post on Technofino (wait, what?!). If you don't mind, can you please take the post down?"

I said I've updated the post as issue resolved and that the posts on this website are for awareness purposes. People learn from others experiences and hence I won't be able to take it down


Damn I never thought Technofino would become a level of grievance redressal 😱

I am a bit confused here.

My understanding:
Mobikwik UPI transaction was successful but was shown as pending in app. If my understanding is correct the simplest solution is confirm from beneficiary if he has received the amount. If beneficiary is an honest person there shouldn't be any issue. He will confirm and as far as I am concerned, end of matter.

Now, if you want some action against mobikwik for technical glitch, I guess you can. But not sure if you will get any compensation from RBIO. In the past RBIO has stopped major banks from onboarding new customers due to technical issues in their system. If that is your objective please gather all relevant proof of the technical glitch and submit to RBI and mention the challenges you faced due to the technical glitch and also demand for a compensation 🙂

So, Mobikwik snitches are reading TF threads. That's why they reduced the FULLPAY cashback from ₹50 to just ₹40, and it can now be applied only 10 times.

UPI txn was not successful in real time but later settled. It seems such txns don't show up in beneficiary's UPI app.

My beneficiary who doesn't use mobile banking, checked his UPI app and told he didn't receive the amount. But later upon checking his bank statement, the amount was credited the next day after txn date
