Mobile suggestion for my mother

Hi All,

I am planning to buy a mobile for my mother. my budget is 15-20k. She uses mobile for video calls, QR code payments. My mother main ask is camera.

Please suggest me a good phone suits for my mother.

I got Samsung M35 for my mother for the above same uses except for QR payments. Working perfectly fine especially for video calls and also youtube and some OTT apps.

CMF Phone 2 Pro is launched yesterday with good camera specs for the range but IP rating is relatively less.
You may also check moto edge 50 neo (last year launch) which has better for IP rating with good camera.

If you can wait, moto will launch its 60 series variants more soon, beside one it launched recently.

Sadly this is the norm now.

Even if one somehow find any smaller screens (I dont think anyone is currently making < 6inch), other feature might disappoint.

My suggestion for parents will be Moto mainly bcoz of no bloatware and ads.
Camera also good in recently launched edge 60 fusion u can check and moto phones mostly have Dolby Atmos which is really good for the price point at they are offering

PS: My mother using moto phone from past 2 years no issues faced till now

Even if one somehow find any smaller screens (I dont think anyone is currently making < 6inch), other feature might disappoint.

For people with small hands like me, around 6.1 inch is more than enough. Anything bigger is really hard to handle. It's sad to see only flagships like iphone and samsung have this size

Fusion series being a curved display is not easy for everyone to handle, usually elder ones.
So its better to feel curved display if its the first time someone is using.

Also curved display needs to be used with more caution.

Those gimmicks make it even more uncomfortable imo and bulkier. I'd rather have a small phone

Got it on Sep 4 th 2024 for her bday.. and no complaints since then. Heavy usage of phone, WhatsApp(video calls), Whatsapp forwards ( typical family groups), Youtube, Hotstar, Zee5, Aha.
