Money Credited… But Never Debited: A Strange NEFT Mystery

Another Glitch: (It is not the "Big Beautiful Glitch", which I posted on my profile... This is a different one - I’ll be posting the details in mid-December 2025.)

Sent some money from one account to another using NEFT.
The amount was credited to the receiving account, but it never got debited from the source account.
I assumed it was a glitch and that the bank would reverse it automatically.

So the next day, I transferred the same amount again.
This time everything worked normally - the money was credited, and the source account was debited as expected.

It’s been almost 7 days now.
The first transaction is still not debited, and the funds are still available in the receiving account.
I haven’t touched that amount, and no one knows when the bank will reverse it.

It happened to me once long back in Sbi. They'll collect it back on completion. (But again, recheck utr in receiving account)

after someday bank will put lien on same amount, later deduct, happened with me took ~ 20d

SBI will take back, no matter what. They debited my credit card account after 4 months citing I got both discount and air india points for a transaction and they cant reverse points so debited cc statement by 1 air india point = ₹1

why do these glitches never happen with me 😢

3-4years ago, I applied for an ipo from my sbi ac via upi mandate on groww app.The ipo was allotted but the amount of almost 15k was not debited from my account. Later,I used some of that amount for other transactions.After like 20-25days,I got a call from SBI Kolkata office,they told me to deposit that amount so that the remaining amount can be debited.

6-7 years back Paytm credited some UPI txns to my Paytm Bank acc twice, must be some glitch.
They found out later and that account still has ~9k negative balance. Don't think I will clear it anytime soon.

Mine is different opposite of all debit my account did not credit beneficiary account and bhim transaction shows payment failed status still not reversed 24hrs up.
