Hi All,
I have been exploring mutual funds and wanted to understand the best parameter to evaluate SIP returns. Here’s my understanding of a few key metrics:
Is my understanding correct?
Which parameter is most suitable for assessing SIP returns? Also, where can we find this data? I checked a few trading apps and Moneycontrol, and they primarily mention CAGR, but I’m unsure if it’s the right metric for SIP evaluation.
Note: I’m a beginner in mutual funds. Would appreciate any insights!
Thanks!

I have been exploring mutual funds and wanted to understand the best parameter to evaluate SIP returns. Here’s my understanding of a few key metrics:
- Absolute Returns – Percentage change in investment value over a specific period.
 - CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) / Annualized Return – Percentage change in investment value over a one-year period.
 - Rolling Returns – Average return calculated over specific timeframes to assess consistency.
