My Credit Card Portfolio for 2025 - Query & Discussion

How are you able to hold so many premium CCs from multiple banks? Dont they all require TRV or salary?
I think only emeralde, magnus, Dcb might be considered premium? But in terms of rewards emeralde is giving poor return and magnus is also not attractive anymore.

Right, if I think about it, it’s not that difficult. Once we get DCB, we can shift to ICICI and get emeralde. Then shift to Axis or get Magnus based on RV.

Axis M4B is good considering your high spends..Reward rate shoot up above 1.5L. Axis Atlas is good but both Magnus and atlas has monthly limit. and limit on transferring to accor also. Best redemption option for you is Accor. Axis Olympus for forex is good.
Use DCB for Smartbuy vouchers only.
Can upgrade to amex charge as it will benefit for travel insurance, international spends , elite memberships.
Overall I think you should get 10-12% on 40L of spend

Smartbuy using Dcb has limit for monthly spend? Magnus I might close in coming months as my renewal is coming in June 2025. And upgrade my Horizon to Atlas.

Yes smartbuy with DCB has 10k point per month limit. upgrade horizon to Olympus (Olumpus is diffucult to get card ) ...take atlas separate. consider magnus for burgundy. And I hope you spends are not business related.

I would say forget about HSBC premier /ICICI emerald..both have RR of 3% which is shit. Use amex for rent/fuel/insurance

Olympus I asked today with the Axis bank executive and they denied that they are not issuing it for the moment.

ICICI emeralde does have a poor reward system really, but only reason I'm holding it is because of good credit limit and 8+ years relation with ICICI bank. HSBC Premier I'm not sure because I did not check what this card offers.

Emeralde or Emeralde Private

I'm really confused if given an option should I go for Infinia or continue with Diners black plastic LTF??
Best option is to go for EPM. But that is really hard to get.
You can upgrade to infinia in most cases. Given you have dcb, it means you earn well. And most likely your earning and spends are both going to increase in future, especially after marriage. Spends easily cross 7-8Lpa for an upper middle class life once you get married and live in a big city.
