Hey everyone!

I recently applied for the IndianOil RBL Bank XTRA Credit Card on 8th September and wanted to share my experience with you all.

I applied for the card online, and the process was super smooth. I completed all the required formalities online, including the VKYC (Video KYC), which was pretty straightforward. To my surprise, the card got approved within minutes! By the next day, I could already see the card in my RBL app, which was a pleasant surprise.

One thing to note: the card limit is shared with my existing RBL World Safari Credit Card, which might be the case for others who already have an RBL card. For anyone interested, I highly recommend this card if you have an existing RBL credit card, as the approval process is fast and easy. You can apply by visiting the official page.

Let me know if anyone else has had a similar experience or if you have any questions! 😊

I received mastercard and have raised a request to get it replaced by rupay card.

Meanwhile, fee was charged in first statement and reversed later.

Paid for fuel at an IOCL coco, didn't get surcharge waiver, and received only base reward points (2 per 100) in the statement.

Card is good for only petrol furling at incl, otherwise it's bullshit card, there are so many exclusion in merchant category where no rewards points eligible like govt., insurance, miscellaneous, wallet, EMI, and so many.....other category

Anyone able to transfer points to Xtrarewards? I am getting error "Hi, your Loyality ID cannot be validated. Feel free to reach out to IndianOil Call Centre 1800-200-5611 for XtraRewards profile creation - RBL Bank" although my profile is already created & when contacted Xtrarewards customer care, they said my profile is active & said to send mail for further investigation.

If anyone faced similiar kind of issue, please let me know & with solution if any.

I applied before three days and did vdky on same day i did not get any application number yet how to get and how to check without application number ?

Got approval for the Xtra card yesterday.
Yet to receive any dispatch information.
I think it's the MC variant. UPI apps not detecting card even though it is visible on their website.
Applied online. VKYC was necessary even though i have the World Safari card. No Cibil hit message yet.

Employees at the branch were clueless (MG Road Branch, Bangalore).

Closed IDFC Power+ in favor of this.

Thanks for your insights, OP!
