A viral Reddit post shows a user claiming he bought an Apple iPhone 16 for just Rs 27,000 by using credit card reward points. The user shared a screenshot indicating Rs 62,930 of the total price was covered by accumulated points on an HDFC Infinia credit card.

Hahahahaha.. I am tired of asking HDFC to increase my limit in my Tata Neu card. And don’t have that much of enthusiasm to send them my salary slip, ITR etc to HDFC Chennai office so trying to check if there’s any easier way.

Yes ideally it should be the case. But somehow these guys messed up while issuing my Neu card. Now my Infinia is at 11L and Neu is at 20k 🤣

The only USP of Nue infinity is UPI. Now that they mandated Nue app which is too slow , it's better to move to the best cards like Kiwi. Thank God, they didn't do this for me, else Nue card would have become worthless for paying my kid's school fee.

reddit seems to be rant it for many. Even I didn't like it. I just read if it comes up in google search. But it seems papers like t o i etc give attention to it.

i think i saw someone facing similar issue here on forum, he was tired of asking customer support too and gave up, later he got another card (swiggy i think) and soon after, limits of all the cards were merged
