They take atleast 15 days to deliver Gold. You can cancel your order if you don't get 5X in next 4 days.

Guys let's not get overboard here, HDFC will come to know about this loophole and can use the last point used in T&C that 'Purchase of any Gold items' wont be eligible for accelerated rewards'!
Remember what Axis bank is doing, they are making the account negative, and those who are not willing to pay the money back, are taking legal action against them.
HDFC can also do the same, so the seeming profit could become a penalty in future!

Are you sure you received 2 * 15,000 points in consecutive months (considering Infinia) for a single transaction made in December? Bonus points are categorized by type within the month (such as 3X, 5X, 10X), as shown in the screenshot of the January 2025 statement below. If that’s the case, they might have set a cap on rewards on a monthly basis, considering all categories combined. The screenshot from January 2025 shows that the second installment of 5X points is posted under the Dec24_Bonus_5X bucket. Similarly, the December 2025 statement shows that the first installment of points is posted under the same Dec24_Bonus_5X bucket. If a cap of 15,000 points was applied to December 2024 across all categories (5X, 3X, 10X), we might not have received the second installment of 5X points worth 15,000, as we have already reached the 15,000 cap with the first 5X installment for December 2024 in Dec,2024 statement itself. Hope you got my point . Awaiting clarification.
you're right, but my remainder 5X from December says Smartbuy Jan25 not Dec 24.
but if in case they get it right this time around, one should order considering 15K capping for the current month.

There is no hack.
It is a double risk you take (not only buying gold at its all time high, but also paying a premium of 6 to 9% on the all time high rate),
that if they strictly enforce that rule, you will not get points.
