Myntra Robbed My ₹6,000 Gift Card Refund

Hi everyone,


I’m sharing this so others can be aware and maybe guide me on what to do next.

On 10th October 2025, I ordered a 1 gm gold coin on Myntra.
  • Total Amount: ₹12,548
  • Payment Split: ₹7,440.37 (Myntra Gift Card) + ₹5,107.63 (Credit Card)
The order was automatically cancelled right after placing it. When the refund came, only ₹1,454 out of ₹7,440.37 (the gift card portion) was refunded to my Myntra wallet.

It’s been over five days now, and despite:

  • Repeated calls to customer support,
  • Tweets to @MyntraSupport, and
  • An email to the grievance officer,

there’s been no proper update or action. The remaining ₹6,000+ is still stuck.


Honestly, this has been mentally exhausting, ₹6,000 is not a small amount to just let go of, and the lack of accountability from a major platform like Myntra is shocking.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue with refunds (especially gift card payments) on Myntra?

What else can I do? Consumer Forum, RBI Ombudsman, or another escalation route?

Please share your advice or experiences, it’ll help a lot.

It takes 15 days for grievance resolution for payments issues. Their payment team will contact you. Meanwhile try to contact them on social media platforms, that will expedite the process. Don’t worry your money will be refunded, sometimes it takes time, that’s all.

Speaking from experience-refund issue happened with my colleague-in his case it took almost 15-20 days.
 
Have faced similar issue in Flipkart. Order was cancelled but didnt receive the gift card refund for over a week. Sent emails and called 2 times. They eventually refunded on day 10. Just have patience and keep them in loop over email.
 
I have faced the issue regarding Gift Card...they expired my Gift card before the actual date of expiration. I have to contact them repeatedly after that they refunded back to my card balance.
They are very lazy and if i have never contacted them....they would have robbed it too....please escalate the issue...they can robb you too
