Need Advice: Paid RBL Play Card – What Should I Do?

Hey folks,

I’ve been holding an RBL Play Card for about 2 years now. Honestly, I only took it because I wanted to have an RBL card back then.

Initially got a limit of ₹80k, but it was later reduced to just ₹10k (so the card is practically useless to me now).

Every year, they charge me ₹590 annual fee, and I have to call and get it reversed.


This is starting to feel like unnecessary hassle.

So, what are my options here?
Ideally, I’d prefer an RBL card that’s lifetime free, but I’m open to any experienced suggestions. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
- Change card?
- Any negotiation points?

Change it to IRCTC, as they also waive its fees. Else, try for LTF ShopRite.

When your limit was reduced, if you had called them within 30 days, it would have been restored.

Yes, they did for me.

Just have to mail them for fees reversal or have to threaten first for card closure and then they reverse..what is usually process
