Hey everyone
I’m currently holding an HDFC Millennia Credit Card with a limit of ₹1.6 lakh, and I’m planning to apply for the HDFC Tata Neu Infinity Credit Card, but I specifically want it as LTF (Lifetime Free).

I’ve been checking various forums and Telegram groups, but couldn’t find any confirmed or safe trick to get it as LTF.
Some users suggested that if we enter a Tata Group company name in the employment field while applying, the system shows “LTF offer for Tata employees” — so I decided to test this using a friend’s details.

What I Tried (My Friend’s Case)

My friend already holds an HDFC Credit Card (limit ₹65,000) and was eligible for the Tata Neu Plus variant, but it showed as FYF (First Year Free) instead of LTF.

I entered a Tata company name during application (as suggested) to see if it would make the card LTF.
Here’s what actually happened:

  • The system asked to verify employment proof for the entered Tata company.
  • Option to proceed without proof was there, but it was chargeable (not LTF).
  • Even though he already had an HDFC card, vKYC and even home verification were done.
  • App showed “approved up to existing card limit”, with ₹5,000 limit initially.
  • After home verification, the card was approved — but still not LTF.

So, the “enter Tata company name = get LTF” trick didn’t work.

TL;DR:

  • Tried entering Tata company name → caused verification +not LTF.
  • HDFC performs full checks even for existing customers.
  • Looking for genuine, recent experiences of getting Tata Neu Infinity as LTF while holding another HDFC card.

Would really appreciate insights from anyone who recently got this card as LTF

FYI, In September end itself, TNI was being offered LTF to new eligible customers directly from the app. Did you check during that time?
