also does Marriott provides complimentary services on spouse's birthday ?
That extra is for that additional adult not tax I guess
When we stayed in January it’s not any special day for us but still they surprised my daughter by keeping a cake when we went out and returned to room

I have a query. Can we book a staycation at Fairfield by Marriott Coimbatore costing INR 9500 and then at the time of checkout pay by marriot points?
If i assume correctly, only itc and accor allows this.
Marriott Bonvoy I never heard of pay by point
It accept bookings only if we have sufficient points
Consider welcome hotels of ITC at racecourse and if u look for hifi le meridian on avinashi road which u can book by Marriott Bonvoy app

From what I know & have experienced is the following Brands of Marriot has breakfast as standard:
Residence Inn
Element
TownePlace
SpingHill Suites
However, none of these brands are here in India.
Notes: Others may offer and is subjective (varies by property). To check there are two options
1) Filter on "Free Breakfast" on results page when searched for hotels
2) Select the hotel form the search result by clicking "Continue" or "View Rates" -> making sure you are under "Pay with Points" tab, click on the desired room's "Room Details" link and head down to "Hotel Services & Amenities" section and check if complimentary breakfast is mentioned.

Forgot to mention; further as others have said, once one is Platinum elite and above, breakfast can be selected as "Welcome Gift Choice". Do note that specially valid in North America, it does not guarantee "full breakfast buffet spread" as we are used to in India. There it would either be in the hotel's lounge or a selection from Continental / American breakfast.
However, many properties are very generous ,especially in Asia, and offers complementary breakfast for elite members (gold and above) and accompanying guests. It sometimes involves sweet talking a day or two before check in or at the time of check in. This is from various

For points redemption at Marriot, there is no need to pay tax on room rewards. However, if there are any extras (such as extra person), tax would be applicable on that amount.
Again, some front desk staff are generous to let this slide (Extra person charges) if one member in one of the elite tiers.

1. Can i use Club Marriott coupon of 20% discount, then book by MB points in the same hotel?
2. If 1 is No, how do I club both Club Mariott and MB for max benefits? Can it be used together or no?
3. Accor Silver Plus - I received only the 2 nights free note on the app. Did not receive any other coupons/ certificates. When will I get those? Who do i contact?
