Need Group's Expert Advice. Issue with Magnus.

Lately have encountered following issue with Magnus and I need your advice as should I aggressively follow-up below issue with Magnus or you think that this will be a waste of effort and time. Below is the chronology of events:

1. Purchased forex currency notes on 300 USD through MMT App and ~25600/- paid via Axis Magnus Card.
2. Enquired the MCC code the next moment and was told the MCC code applied is 6051. Which I searched and safely concluded as eligible for reward points.
3. After a week I got all RPs for transaction done after above but didn't receive the RP for forex currency notes transaction.
4. I dropped a mail to premium support and got answer next that day that 6051 MCC is not eligible for Edge rewards.
5. Spoke to Customer Care and they narrated the same thing, when I asked that where it is written in T&C the guy navigated me to relevant pages on website which stated the list of cards not eligible for MCC code and has a long list of cards BUT Magnus was not there in list.
6. Argument didn't landed anywhere. Roughly 1500 RPs are at stake.

I need advise from you that should I escalate this and take this higher or should I let it go as this will be a futile exercise? If anyone has any practical scenario then please share that as well. Below are the links referred by CC person:

Called CC, they told the MCC is 6051(Financial Transaction). At first they told it is not counted for ER. When I told to show where it is written for Magnus, they checked and told that it will be counted for ER and will be credited within 12 days.
Finally ER got credited after a month long war with PNO.

After several emails and phone calls to and fro with PNO to get the ER and making them understand that MCC 6051 was not excluded, I understood that they are simply going in Loop and denying the ER stating that it is excluded. They also started sharing documents for other cards like MyZone, Privilege etc and claiming that Magnus is also excluded.

Fed up with the Same automated replies, sent mail to MD desk with trailing responses from PNO and within 3 working days ER got credited.

The funny thing is that after getting ER credit mail from the MD desk, PNO has again responded that I am not eligible for ER for that transaction.
