Need help because refund credited after statement generation.

Approx. 16k rs refund from amazon credited just after my icici cc bill was generated.
In the refund email from icici it is stated that the refund amount will not be considered as payment.
Now, if I pay full amount then 16k rs will be stuck in my icici cc and I am not planning to use this amount from icici cc in near future.
Can I get the excess credit balance refund in some way from icici?
Please help and advice me.

Don't worry it will considered make a payment of what is due and check the limit using the immobile app it applicable to every cc
