Need help in building my credit card sheet

Hisoka

TF Ace
I've a rent payment due tomorrow and from last 3 months I was paying rent through my Vistara Signature card, only to realise last week that rent payments neither give us CV points nor they're counted in milestone spends. Plus they were charging 1% convenience fee, so 1000 rs wasted for no rewards :')

That's why I planned to build this sheet, and I need you guys to just review it once. It's not 100% complete, but all the main cards have information associated with them. It'd greatly help me in deciding which card to use for rent payments, although I see no card now which will give me decent rewards for rent. Here's the link for the same

Cn we apply card n if not activated then will it be shown in cibil or only enquiry will be there for approval, n banks will charge. Any disadvantage of apply n not activating
I don’t think there’s any disadvantage. But I wouldn’t recommend doing this intentionally just to be on the safer side

I’m getting an upgrade offer to IDFC Vistara Card. Should I close my Axis Vistara and go for this one?

Pros and cons of Axis Vistara

Pros
+ Less fees with same renewal benefit
+ Currently this is my card with highest limit of 5.1L (after that HDFC Millenia with 4L)

Cons
- No rewards and milestone on rent and utilities

Questions regarding IDFC Vistara
1 Does it give rewards on rent and counts in milestone?
2 Does IDFC charges rent fees?
3 Should I go ahead and upgrade it?
4 Will my existing Eazidiner membership be extended after applying for this card?

@shutapdiya bro react kar diya hai toh reply bhi kar do 😂

@rahulsethi You've IDFC Vistara card I guess. When I read T&C of the card it just says rewards not applicable on EMI and cash withdrawal. This should mean that it's applicable on other areas like rent. Have you tried this by any chance?

Cool. So I guess there’s no card in my list which will give me rewards for rent. Just that in some cards the charges might get excluded
For rent payment through credit cards to get reward points as well as pay low transaction charges you should also consider paying it through RedGiraffe/payzapp platform using Axis Burgundy Magnus card. Though Axis charges 1% transaction charges you get 12 ER points ( per 200) for rental payment upto rs 50k per month ( which is also eligible for Accelerated Edge Points ) , working out to a minimum net reward rate of nearly 3.5 to 4% after converting (5:4 ratio for BM card) into air miles /hotels loyalty partners.

Also refer the link below which might be useful to update your excellent compilation 👍

If your primary card is Axis Vistara Signature for all spends then you should consider upgrading to IDFC Vistara.
Advantages:
-Higher CV ratio of 6 points upto 1 lakh in a month.
-1 cv point ( per rs 200) reward rate for rental , wallet load and insurance
- and also milestone benefits for these spends ( to be verified ).
- 5 rewards tickets if you spend 12L in a year - - plus renewal benefits of CV Silver membership and PE ticket ( same as Axis).

I am considering adding IDFC Vistara to my Axis Vistara signature and spend 3 to 4 lakhs each in both the cards per annum , if Govt spends ( tax payments ) are also eligible for milestone benefits in IDFC . Can anyone verify if it is applicable?

I would recommend to keep bill payment date instead of bill generation date or keep both. I always had to do mental calculations on when to pay because of keeping bill generation date.
