Instead of keeping the funds in savings account, try curie money which lets you invest in liquid funds and can withdraw money instantly to bank account when needed from the mutual fund which gives better interest rates than savings account aroun 7-8%.

Can your add some more info about curie money? Is it safe? How much you can get max even when market is down? I am currently holding funds in slice with 6.25% which credits interest daily & it's amazing. I am looking for more options where I can earn more than 6.25% + I can withdraw/transfer funds as per my need anytime just like savings account. IDFC is there but 10L & above it gives 7.25% on balance above 10L so it's not good.

Curie Money is just a platform which facilitates the transaction between Yes Bank and ICICI Prudential AMC. Your money will be invested in liquid fund with ICICI and Rs.50,000/- will be available for instant withdrawal and rest takes one day. Liquid funds are not related to equity market. The funds are invested in the short term liquid instruments. Instead of using curie money, you can still open a demat account and link in those liquid funds directly from the existing bank accounts. All you have to do is place the withdrawal request 2 days before you require it. The best part would be tax would be deferred on the interest you earn unlike savings account.

At slice, even if you get interest credited daily, the net yield per annum would be just around 6.45% and liquid funds give you more than that with no hassle of moving funds from one bank to other bank looking which is paying high interest.

Thank you will explore this option 🙂
