Need help in understanding the AEP/Reward cycle for Axis Magnus Burgundy CC

Hello Everyone !!

I recently got the Axis Magnus For Burgundy card, and I want to understand how should I time my spends to prevent loss of reward points for big purchases.
My current Credit limit is 15L and I am planning to swipe around 20L for one of my wedding expense.
I want to understand how do I make sure that I get AEP on all my 20L spend which needs to happen in a single month.
Assuming that CC bill gets generated every 20th of the month, I want to know if the following strategy works
1. Pay 15L before 20th Oct
2. Settle my bill on 21st Oct to free up my limit
3. Pay the remaining 5L on 22nd Oct.

I want to know if my understanding of the billing cycle/AEP is correct or not.

Getting AEP on entire 20L is not possible now in your case with credit limit of 15L

You will be able to get AEP upto 16.5L of spends per month (credit limit + 1.5L). Remaining 3.5L will need to be routed next month

Also AEP is calculated on spends during calendar month and not billing cycle. Spends during 1st to 31st Oct will count towards AEP only upto 16.5L
