Need suggestions on closing HDFC Swiggy

• HDFC MB+
• Axis MYZONE
• ICICI CORAL
• ICICI APAY
• ICICI PLATINUM

I want to ask learned friends whether my decision to close HDFC Swiggy is good or not, as it is the only paid card i have and all others are LTF

also I want to ask how to get LE on HDFC my card as it's my first card and with the lowest credit limit of all my cards

If you want to know swiggy card is worth or not, you need to take a look at your spends on swiggy. If you frequently order from swiggy, use swiggy dine out and have enough spending throughout the year to cover the 500 + 90 GST charges, then it might be worthwhile for you.

I have this card and made the annual fees back by spending in dine out in only 1 month, so it's worthwhile for me.

Also keep in mind that the cashback is credited to swiggy wallet which can't be used elsewhere, so if you're not interested in that, you should close the card

For the Limit inquiry question, you can send your 3 months salary slip or ITR if you're self employed and 3 months salary statement to the infamous HDFC Chennai branch and they'll increase your limit.

I got it for 5% on FK , back then I didn’t have AXIS, now this month, I got axis, don’t see any benefits, Use Swiggy 3-4 times a month and I can use Axis for that

I think you already paid joining fees for swiggy card so i suggest you to use the card 11 month then mail hdfc for LTF conversion, if they not convert it so you can closed it if not needed..

The fee will be charged after 3 months of issuance, i just closed my card yesterday after 3 months, many people are getting LTF too and joining bonus whereas i didnt. Also, this is my third hdfc cc. I am buying vouchers now in my platinum charge, and now have the flexibility to order in both food platforms based on price and coupon, but with swiggy hdfc u will be locked to one.

You can close it now

I have a salary account with HDFC and they are insisting me to send these documents 😆, if you have a high Net worth relationship with them then maybe you will get it

First of all, getting Swiggy Card itself is not a great decision and hence closing should be a okay decision I think..
I will not recommend Swiggy Card for anyone , may be excpet for Swiggy hard hitters..

Actually both HDFC and Swiggy don't give a damn about this card.. and also generally they don't give a F * about customer service..

I order once daily, recently i started comparing both swiggy and zomato after adding in cart for the final price

I see zomato giving lower price for the same cart order in 8 out of 10 times

I feel zomato is better

You took Cobranded card from HDFC as your first card so its gonna be very hard to get core card form HDFC. Keep in mind while closing your swiggy card if you decide.

For LTF and LE its entirely in the hand of Bank mail HDFC every possible ways to make that happen.

Took Airtel card for swiggy.

IMO, as a student, you don't need more than 2 cards since you mentioned no income proofs. Close ICICI Platinum and Swiggy - unnecessary burden.

Rest use consistently without worry about limit, use as you can based on your repayment capability and over time when you get proper income either through business or salary, your CIBIL history helps you get more cards along with relationship on these banks. But, if you dont have patience, you do what you like, its your money and my suggestion above.
