Need Suggestions on Mobikwik Wallet Load using Amex Cards

HI team,

As we see Amex Rewards Multiplier has increased the Denominations to 10k, now Using Amazon pay GV for completing MRCC & Gold Card Milestone is impossible for users from Tier2 & Tier3 Cities where Amex acceptance is almost Zero. The other Option we have now is the Mobikwik Wallet load which has 3.125% additional charge. Please advice on the below:

- Will there be any chance for Amazon pay GV smaller denominations(500,1000) to be available in future ?
- Will there be any problem (Like Amex Blocking Cards), if we regularly Load Mobikwik wallet using Amex every month only for completing Milestone (4X1500 & 6X1000) ?

1) we really don't know the APAY GV denominations available to be precise. They may make it available in future. They keep changing these denominations these days. So one can expect the lower denominations sometime in the future.
2) Don't worry about mobikwik loading. I loaded about 10L in the last two years into mobikwik. They won't block it..

Thanks for the Response @SSV . I was worried on this Wallet load. As i dont have any other use for Amex card in my residing region, this is the only option left out. Just to use for Apay or Mobikwik Load. Thanks for the confirmation !!!

Just wait for sometime other denominations should come up soon. Before they started charging convenience fees they were offering only 250/- denomination for few months so shouldn’t be a problem this time as well. Besides it’s always better to have other avenues for possible spends apart from reward multiplier.

In case of MobiKwik have been using it since past one year and dint face any issue as such till date. However what kind of amount one is putting in is a major factor as well. Worst case scenario if a FR is triggered then one might be required to justify those spends with relevant documents.

You can buy gift cards of any denomination from Amazon itself. I have been doing this post exhausting the 10k limit on gyftr. The only benefit of going through gyftr is the reward multiplier.

2. You’ll receive base MR points basis Merchant MCC upon purchase. And yes it counts towards milestone.

Just take care of the purchase limits of Apay vouchers from Amazon which are as follows:

30-days: INR 30,000
60-days: INR 40,000
90-days: INR 50,000
365-days: INR 3,60,000

If you exceed the limit most probably you won’t get credit card option on payment page while purchasing (which gets reinstated if you don’t use it for sometime/when you are eligible post respective time limit)
