New Features Alert: Ignore Content, Wiki Article, Self Delete Account

Neat. While at it, I'd also like to request the ability to unsubscribe to profile posts or make it similar to forum posts so that you're notified only for the first unread comment.

Also, it would be nice to have an option to be notified for each reply to forum thread (similar to current profile post comment situation).

And finally, currently the 'Forums' button links to https://www.technofino.in/community/ while the Home button also links to https://technofino.in/community/ (without the www). IMO, the Home button should lead to https://www.technofino.in/ (where enabling dark mode should make the whole page dark instead of just the main content).

Edit: Can we get email alerts for articles?

  • Gives users the power to block unwanted conversations, ensuring they never see them again.

Privacy: Allow Ignored User to View User Profile
  • Provides users with the option to allow ignored users to view their profile while keeping their content hidden.
  • Gives users full control over their privacy.
3. Wiki Articles:
This feature allows Admins, Mods, and original authors (TF Ace or higher) to mark a thread as a "WikiPost," granting the ability to edit the original post to any user with the required permissions (TF Ace or higher). By using this feature, we can create threads, and TF Ace or higher-ranked members will be able to edit and add information. It will be very helpful for creating master threads related to certain credit cards.

And, Sumant da @TechnoFino, please remove Delete Account from the dropdown. I am always a little careful here because of this option being so easily available. It is just fine under Settings when one visits the Account Details page.

This may be a bit off-topic here, but is very relevant to improving TF. So here goes:

Please think about limiting the ability to edit a post to some reasonably short period of time (like no more than an hour or so, like what is done in some other forums).

What can and do often happen with the current situation is, people can edit long after the original post has already been quoted and commented on multiple times! This late edits can completely mess up the relevance of the quotes and comments already made based on the original post.

Also, I have seen ridiculous situations like posts edited to include matters discussed in other posts made much later in time down the page(s)! This can really mess up the timeline.

Can view edited history and while content, even deleted one.

It's not the problem. I too agree that it creates confusion and frustration.
 
but a humble request to you as chief moderator and family member to re-include the IGNORE button/tab for any thread put up by advertisers and commission agents

Is there any chance if you could ask the developers to add an option for us to edit the thread titles? That way, we wouldn't need to tag mods and thank you so much for reverting those.

Is there any way to view only selected saved threads instead of browsing all pages ?
Whenever i click on what new, i have to search 10 pages to see my favourotes threads.
