***IMPORTANT AND FRAUD ALERT***
Please be careful with the Fortum app. I have added money using a new credit card and is my first transaction on this card. Today I have received a call saying that they are calling from XYZ Bank and told first 6 digits of card number and asked me 4 digits to validate. When I told last 4 digits they said not the last 4 but between last 4 and first 6. For a moment I didn't think and just provided them. Then they asked if you want to enhance your limit and I said yes. So they asked me to provide date of birth to validate. Later they asked me what type of card is it, whether it's high, low or medium. When I said I don't know, they asked to turn the card backside and check if white strip is present and said you can see 3 digits next to it. They insisted me to provide 3 digits(CVV) so they can increase the limit. When I said I cannot disclose, they said you shouldn't disclose with others but if you want to know the level of the card and the limit enhancement you can disclose with bankers. I then felt suspicious and didn't provide them the CVV. Later they asked if I'm not comfortable in saying the CVV then they will connect me with nearest branch. I just said ok and disconnected. Then I was recollecting whole conversation and then concluded it to be a fraud call and reached Fortum customer support and informed them about this episode. They save only last 4 digits of the card and card type is what I was told. But asked them to be careful with the data they save and support guy took it as feedback and informed that he will take it to his superiors on it.
The so called banker also asked why didn't I redeem reward points and I have 4500 RP, I said I didn't notice the RP's and will check. Also asked if my current limit is 50K which is not the right limit I have.
Nothing to point anyone here but to share my first experience on fraudulent call and to warn everyone to be careful with the apps we are using.

Never ever share anything except last 4 digits of card.

No such call receive, by the way Fortum app use razorpay gateway page, there we enter your card details and also card saved with tokenization. So, no way they will be able to trace the first 6 digits of our card.

Also note - first 6 digit is our card BIN number. Anyone can easily find out our first 6 digit BIN number with our bank name and card variant + card network.

Not sure where it went wrong but they even told the card expiry date correctly. I haven't used the card anywhere else so the only option I could think of is the one I made my transaction with.

The creator of this website and admins should check the profiles of the person who has promoted this app and should ban them from the community.
There should be more checks on the profiles created here.
Everyone please be aware
No one is forcing you to use any thing posted here. I used this app and I didn't face any issue. Many others also faced the issue. And @Abhishek012 has given lot of tricks which are genuine. And he never promotes any of this. He just provides that this is one way of rotating money and he even says try with Rs. 100 only. If you are so scared to use it, then why are you even trying whatever he is posting. Why are you even thinking of rotating money? Even that is also one type of fraud that you are doing.

Paytm is now charging 2.95% directly, which is not even showing in OTP page 😭. Did 4k transaction via mobikwik, got 4118 deducted.

Paytm refund to source also not working. Will it refund whole 4118 or just 295?
Yes, Paytm directly charge 2.95% on wallet load using any visa/master/RuPay prepaid cards. charges showing before payment.

By the way why you directly load on paytm wallet ? i already mentioned pay through Uber on Paytm wallet load (100% free this way, no charges).

Read the post carefully.

Guys, don't rely on the refund mail, that could be a trick too, just call bank and make sure you get the refund.
This refund mail directly from Razorpay not from the app domain. also, they provide a status check link along with this mail, so we can enter our number to track the same.

I have been using Razorpay payment gateway from last 4 years. they are very good in customer and service support.

Note - I'm not promoting Razorpay.. lol.

risk is there in all places, start with small amount and if it works well and go ahead with your risk. no one is responsible for our money. we need to think twice before doing anything.

Yes, yesterday one guy told me, his Paytm wallet gateway is not open via Uber, getting error "lost in space".

When i ask him much amount you tried ? he told me he purchase total 11 zingoy RuPay gift card, 10k denomination each (total 1.10 lakhs) 🤣🤣

And from last 3 days he is not able to use those zingoy RuPay gift cards then i suggest him first delink your paytm wallet from Uber app and link again and then try small denomination or max 5k per transaction. After that he told problem solved and successfully loaded zingoy RuPay gift cards to paytm wallet via Uber.

I am saying this because I am suggesting everyone to try with Rs 100 for the first time, but sometimes it is possible that even your higher denomination may get stuck. So, try at your own risk.

Only thing i tell everyone. All this wallet issuer bank/PPI wallets have RBI license. That's why no app can do fraud with you.

ok, earlier used mobikwik card through paytm wallet load via Uber, no extra charge debited.

Also i paid full mobikwik wallet amount because mobikwik t&c also mentioned, mobikwik will charge upto 5% extra if we spend our mobikwik card on any wallet reloads but earlier no extra charges was debited.

Lol i also did full amount transaction earlier and then no extra charges. But now I got charged when I did with more balance.

So u mean to say mobikwik added this 118 charges? Where do you see that terms for 5% charges?
