New SBI cashback Application Rule

I want to get the SBI Cashback Card. I have a SimplyClick cc with me.
First i tried calling Customer Care to ask them for upgrade. They gave me all option like prime, elite, etc except Cashback, so i went to the bank.
The bank guys are saying that you can apply for the cashback card via YONO SBI app. I dont have a saving account with SBI and that you need 6 months old account with SBI before you can apply.

Did anybody else face the same issue ?
Is there a better way to get the SBI Cashback ?
Can i complain to someone as this feels unfair to me?

Apply online via SBI Cards Sprint portal. Use Google search to get the link and apply.

They do. I have done it personally. Follow these steps for max returns

Apply using cashkaro which will redirect you to SBI Sprint. Your card has a better chance of approval because of your previous card. Cashkaro gives 1800 CB making it free for 1.5 years
