NIVA BUPA: Amazon wallet + SBI cashback??

what if on the Niva Bupa website i select amazon pay wallet, select use few bucks remaining in the wallet and pay the rest using SBI Cashback card, will i get 5% cashback? i should get technically 5%, because Niva Bupa shows the mode of payment as amazon wallet, the funds much be going to amazon first and then to Niva Bupa. so idk what mcc is involved in this.

can anyone confirm my theory?

I think it will first transfer the amount from your sbi card to Amazon wallet and then make the entire payment from Amazon wallet. I have seen this happen in the case of pharmeasy, but not for electricity bill payments.

Technically, you are right but I find it hard to digest that such a loophole could exist.

You could give it a shot if the probable cashback loss is very low.

But I have limited knowledge about wallet transfers.

It depends, if during the txn Amazon wallet is loaded first and then whole Payment debited from wallet, then most likely Cashback SBI will not give any Cashback .

Recently I did txn at Dominos via Amazon Pay.
At Payment page I made partial Payment using Cashback SBI, and Payment was directly transferd to Dominos without any wallet loading and Cashback SBI credited 5%.

Yeah actually you can only purchase 30k gift card in a month that's why I asked

I completed the transaction and noticed that the remaining sum was first transfered to Amazon wallet and then used. But anyways that was just 300 rupees the other 30k I paid using gift cards 👍

How can you buy 30k? The limit is 10k, right?
