No dedicated app for HDFC customer with just credit card.

My Credit card has been approved by HDFC. It's Tata Neu HDFC card. I had no prior relationship with HDFC. I tried to access and manage this card form their Main app. But I couldn't login it. I tried to find my customer ID but couldn't find it. Everytime I try to retrieve the customer ID it says "Unable to find". I can only access and manage my card from "mycard.hdfc" portal. But to access this portal from browser I have to log in it with OTP each and every time. Which very inconvenient. And we can't access this portal from Desktop browser.

I have credit card is other banks. But I never faced this situation. What's your opinion on this? IMG_20240117_221308.jpg
 
With just having a card, the options to access the portal are indeed very limited.

And this is not just with HDFC but ICICI too, the process to reset passwords and generate IDs just becomes way more difficult!

My advice would be to open up an account with the bank who's card you love and really use, this will help you build you rep with the RM and eventually with some funds/investments, it will help you with faster upgrades as well!

My only relationship with ICICI is Credit card. But I can use their Main app without any problem. Same thing with Axis Bank app.
 
We are unable to find a user ID for the details provided we request you to please contact our phone banking or visit your nearest HDFC Bank branch
