I think you've got the wrong understanding. Keeping 300 is not going to help whosoever. Suppose you have received MB points on 26/02. You can finish transferring all ER+MB points received till 26/02 using the MB points. Suppose you receive some ER points today on 27/02. You'll never be transfer ER points received today using MB points of yesterday. You will have to generate more MB points tomorrow to keep transferring ER points.Make sure you don't transfer /finish all your Magnus Burgundy points. Keep at least 300 +,
otherwise you will not be able to transfer the future edge points
Are you sure?I think you've got the wrong understanding. Keeping 300 is not going to help whosoever. Suppose you have received MB points on 26/02. 100% sure. Tried various things. It is completely chronological based on receipt date of points, whether MB or ER. FIFO method, whatever is received first will be transferred first. Are you sure?
anyway there is no harm in not transfering only 300 points
How are folks calculating for which transactions they received points so far? I do not see any option to check transaction wise points in hte portal, just see a total and not sure for which transactions they have given. The count is less than what I expected.
Getting 2 /100can anyone confirm if they are getting 2EM/100 Rs? or was it supposed to be something else?
So the used MB points keep getting refilled from the edge bucket, provided that the MB points are newer than the edge points?Just credited another bunch of MB points. In a way, I am happy about the delay, call it silver lining, but I can empty my entire ER bucket now since all latest points have gone in MB bucket.
I had raised this query with customer support and they informed me that you essentially cannot run out of MB points and some non-MB points always transfer into the MB bucket to maintain the 5:4 ratio. Having tested this personally, the lowest figure I got to was 420 MB points which would refill to the same amount everytime I initiated a transfer for the same.So the used MB points keep getting refilled from the edge bucket, provided that the MB points are newer than the edge points?
I wonder what software change or upgrade was done in the last 30 days
I just had the situation that my MB bucket ran down to 1 and ER bucket had 10k points. Till the MB points came 2 days back, I was unable to transfer those 10k ER points. I am 100% sure, the chronology matters. The MB bucket is anyway a subset of the ER bucket. And if your ER points are newer than MB points, definitely MB points will run out leaving ER bucket not transferable. The only way to keep overcoming this is to keep getting newer MB points.I had raised this query with customer support and they informed me that you essentially cannot run out of MB points and some non-MB points always transfer into the MB bucket to maintain the 5:4 ratio. The only issue I find with this is the inconvenience of registering 100s of transfers (eg: 250 transfers to empty 100k ER). Hence I tend to wait it out for my MB bucket to fill up to initiate larger value transfers and make life easy for myself.
Do note that this is inconsistent and sometimes the MB bucket is refilled with different amounts of ERs (I haven't been able to identify the patten) but I have never had a situation with 0 MB.
Mine also ran down to 25 MB and now not able to transfer the ERs. Great system axis has now.I just had the situation that my MB bucket ran down to 1 and ER bucket had 10k points.
