Infinia No joining fees and reward points on Infinia Metal?

My first bill for Infinia Metal got generated today, and the joining fees is not yet charged. I spoke to the customer support and I was told that if I spend 300k within 90 days, the fees would be waived off, also I'd not be receiving the joining bonus of 12500 reward points. And if I fail to spend the said amount within the period I'd be paying the joining fees but I'd get 12500 rewards points. Is this a new thing? Couldn't find anything about this.

Hdfc charges JF on 120th day from card issuance

And mail hdfc if the offer is applicable to you. It is generally conveyed at the time of filing application.

it's an old offer. This happens on every new infinia, unless you have it FYF/LTF.

Infinia is issued FYF through the upgrade route from some other core card. Maybe that’s the reason why?

This is a valid offer. Upon spending the 3L, in your monthly Infinia statement in the bottom section with the bonus points and all it will show you the fee offer applied automatically.
You will not be charged any fees but will not get the joining bonus points. Essentially it becomes FYF.

I think your card is fyf

So no joining fee, no joining bonus 😊

After 1 year, you will be charged 12500/+gst

And you will also get 12500 points

I think this condition is only for those who dont have any other hdfc card and directly applying to infinia. I received the same. RM had told would be fyf but the CC team said 300k in 90 days to get fyf.

I had similar offer that if I spend certain amount within 90 days, the card will be 1st year free. And indeed I was not charged the fee.

My only HDFC card at the time of applying for Infinia was Swiggy card. I had to close it and then reapply. When I was applying, they told me this spend based condition. Completed the condition and was not charged joining fees.
