No Miles transfer for HDFC Dinersclub Privilege card...What else to do?

I was recently made aware of conversion of HDFC credit card reward points to ITC club reward points. I wanted to do this because i can in turn convert the ITC club reward points to Marriot bonvoy points at a rate of 2:3.

But Sadly it seems Diner's club privilege does not have the miles transfer option at all.



The reward points can be redeemed only against the coupons and offers listed in the Smartbuy website or use it for partial payment while booking flights.

Any other benefits do i have with this card? I was using this for rental payment using redgirraffe and now rental payments are not eligible for reward points and on top of that there is a 1%+GST fee on the rental amount.

Any other alternative suggestions to this card? It feels so devalued to my usage.

Yeah DCP is an absolutely useless card in every sense. The only good thing it is for is BMS BOGO. Write to HDFC requesting change of the card to Regalia Gold. Your reward points will be transferred to the new card account and you can use it for miles transfer.

Hey, Thanks for the suggestion. As you pointed out the only useful offer i get is with the BMS app and the offers in Big billion days and Great Indian festival.

Will try writing to them.

I’m stuck on the same boat too. The best bet would be Smartbuy redemption while booking flights/hotels. Or the regalia gold upgrade if that works in your favour.
