The thing is that earlier two are very old DISCOMs 24/26 yrs. Central power is relatively new 5 yr old so I feel they want to stick to their own app and ditch BBPS to cut costs or lack of proper management.

Try using billdesk website directly from browser on PC. It gave amazon pay and i paid as well. Charges were there which is obvious and they might want to continue this to loot people using convenience fee

Did you get any cashback from Amazon Pay? why not just use UPI payment to avoid charges? On website it shows Amazon Pay I can also use Pay balance to pay the bill also credit card option available to pay remaining.

I have amazon gift voucher bro. I already buy the gift voucher with good cashback using amex card. With upi i all get is zero rewards.

I have Amazon voucher balance and pay balance but it shows only pay balance. Website where we can buy gift cards with best discounts using other credit cards? On Kotak site I get 0 discount. HDFC gives only reward points.

I dont think you get discount. Its more about cashback or reward points when you buy from affiliate links like smartbuy for hdfc, gyftr amex portal, etc

Exactly, but Kotak is giving zero for gift card 2% for shopping voucher I can't use that for bill payment. I need 1480 pts to get 500 gift card on HDFC.

Even i buy gift cards using amex for zero discount. They do give 2X reward points though and useful with milestone spends. Hdfc has smartbuy.

Did you get AMEX card as LTF or you are asking for waiver or RP every year? AMEX RP is good for booking five start hotels and flights. 1 RP is Rs 1.3 for hotels booking sometimes.
You can't use balance of Amazon Shopping Voucher, it only for Shoppingon Amazononly. You can pay bills using Amazon Pay Gift Card Balance only. You can purchase Amazon Pay Gift voucher from Smart Buy. You will get 5% cashback or upto 5x RP (16.6% value) based on your type of HDFC CC. Load it on Amazon Pay Balance and pay bills.

I know I can't use shopping voucher. For gift card Rs 1000 I have to pay 29.5 processing I get Rs 60 worth reward points (120 at 0.5 RP). 3% cash back. Will the points get credited to my credit card? If I do cash redemption it becomes 0.2/reward point. If not I must have 1480 RPs to get 500 gift card on HDFC catalogue.
