Not able to set PIN

I just got a new HDFC freedom cc ltf. I called their ivr number to set the pin for the card, but when I put the last 4 digits and a #, it says the input is invalid. I can't even set the pin for netbanking. What do I do?

Is the card delivered? and have you activated the card?

And I am doing all this to activate my card bro.
I haven't set the PIN For this card before. This will be it's first PIN

I got this card only for the 1500Rs Amazon gift card.
But if I don't activate this card with 14days, ig I am not eligible for the gift card

I had actually enabled online transactions and bought a Amazon gift card of 500 rs to fulfill the criteria for the 1500 rs gift card

So ig that card is automatically activated without setting the pin, Right? So I should be eligible for the 1500 gift card?

Relax bro...Nowadays abnormal is new normal for HDFC.
It may be some technical glitch .Just try after some time or Tomorrow. I know the happiness one get as they got any newly issued card in their hand and it just vanished as soon as we got some hiccups in using this..Try after some time is my opinion.

I tried many times, it didn't work

Today is 19 Apr...Still the issue is same.what steps have you take till now...its not normal..
Must escalate you issue with below mentioned email else after certain period(Probably 30 days) your card will be deactivated.If your using twitter post a tweet on hdfc care for quick call back.. customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com

But I have successfully made a transaction. So the card is activated right?
I don't have to set a pin if I won't use it offline.

As you have told, you have done a online trasaction means your card is already activated.So in my thought you are eligible for said Gift card.

Give it a try. Do you have HDFC website access? If so, go into it. Enable ATM usage. Give reset pin option. It will send a OTP to you. Go to atm and set pin using the OTP
