Would it still make sense if we're trying to open exclusive salary account just to get signature debit card for rewards against cc bill payments

rewards against cc bill payments

this is always in a bubble and no bank "officially" allowed or provide reward points for cc bill payments. as long as it works you need to take advantage but as said bubble can burst anytime and prepare for alternative.

Do not recommend to open "salary account" just to get reward points for "cc bill payments". Moreover, its cumulatively 0.93% that means need to spend 1L every month to get that rate. If you spend only 50k as bill payments you might get only 0.5% and also with Indus we never know when the points credited.

So, 0.5% reward rate not worth the hassle to open "salary account", IMO. Open account only if you like that product or branch people otherwise even credit cards in Indus not much value and doesn't required salary account to use them.

Absolutely agreed, any idea what would be the charges on signature debit card with normal savings account? Any other alternative debit cards (of other banks too in case) u would suggest for cc bills? Currently using sbi debit card with 0.25% meagre reward rate

I opened the select bank account for 20% discount on BigBasket offer. We can use the offer twice by holding two debit cards visa and master. Now it gone, it's no more valuable for me. I will be downgrade the account. The devastation is so bad in both level, reduced the percentage and also maximum discount. Atleast they should have capped the max discount to 250 instead of 150. Now I can get discount of 10% on maximum bill amount of 1500/- which is too low compared to existing offers by other bank offers.
Is it possible to have 2dc on single bank account?

yes but thats for using debit card. why cc 5-10% came here? dc should be used when cc option doesn't exist, otherwise always cc better option than dc.

this is not spend, but redemption. so, whichever you redeem that is bonus from bank.

I recently upgraded to exclusive and planning to take both mastercard and signature visa debit cards.
Question - whilst there are 0 forex charges.. What are cash withdrawal charges for these cards for foreign atms?
