Apart from the few (ones with lounge access) that I carry in a card holder, I keep them in an Amul Choco minis box 😀 along with the add-ons, Dreamfolks, PP, etc.

Not just sarees, shoes and lots of other items too

I had Fbb card and without consent they sent simplyclick but paid one so I closed the card.

My oldest is ICICI bank platinum CC. I took it in 2007 and still active.


Was able to find one payment email from 2008 when I used to drop the cheques in their dropbox's placed in their ATMs.

Unsure if there was any other means of payment during that time.

They did the same , i called and asked to either send me fbb which is free or close this simplysave, they made simplysave LTF

Mine oldest is millennia around 17 yr old. Issued ltf since beginning. At dat time I ws student n no cibil history n no relation wid hdfc. I dont know y hdfc issued me.

Still it hasn't got upgraded 😂

Oldest card is Kotak League Platinum aged 3 years and 5 months and oldest loan is Amazon Pay Later aged 4 years and 5 months
Have a total of 21 credit cards out of which 4 are closed and 17 active

My card list in order or issue.
1. Bobcard (Don't remember the variant) - Got it in 1997. Now Closed
2. HDFC (I think it was called Platinum) - Upgraded a couple of times and finally to Regalia.
3. SBI (A basic yellow card. No variant name) - Closed.
4. CorpCard - Upgraded to Union Bank Signature after Corporation, Andhra and Union Bank Merger.
5. Union Bank Signature Visa - Still valid and currently my oldest card.
6. ICICI Amazon Pay - Still valid.
7. IndusInd EazyDiner - Less than a year old.
8. ICICI Coral Rupay - Less than a year old
9. HDFC Infinia - Less than a year old.

Currently 5 active cards. Infinia is my newest card but HDFC is the card issuer that is the oldest among my current portfolio considering that the Bobcard and SBI Card are closed.

No, my first credit card was not a paid one. As on date, I am holding 34 CCs out of which 29 are LTF.

My journey started with SBI Kolkata Card (LTF) in July 2006. The variant was discontinued and it was upgraded to SBI Gold card which I am still holding.

My first paid card is Amex Gold Charge which I took in Feb-2015, still holding.

Back then a CC was just a CC. Nobody really thought of benefits apart from LTF and the 18-48 days interest free credit and some meagre RPs. The only card that gave real good RPs was Citibank IOC card. It gave Rs. 4 worth of RPs for 150 spent in IOC petrol pumps.

Btw, I used to use 2 Citibank addon cards one of which was Citibank IOC from around 1995. I forgot the name of the other one most probably cashback but not sure.

My oldest card isn't being issued anymore, SBI GOLD AND MORE card.
