ONDC is not a separate app that you can download from Play Store. Instead, ONDC works like UPI, which means it can be added to existing apps like--Paytm, PhonePe and Meesho, etc. ONDC has more than 29,000 sellers that are selling 36 lakh plus products.

A good idea but needs proper delivery channel. Because of 3rd party delivery partners, they can't scale and provide good quality food. Orders are getting delivered after 1-1.5hrs which makes the food already cold on the way.

Also with Swiggy One/Zomato Gold, I'm getting better prices than ONDC in Bengaluru. They're also taking delivery charges as high as 56. Packaging charges are also there. Don't know why people are saying its cheaper there.

Just Base Price is different.
If ONDC listed an item for 100( Base Price)

Then in swiggy the same item is listed at 120 or even more( Base Price)

But after swiggy coupon discount and Swiggy One, Swiggy is cheaper and have a proper delivery system.

To Promote , ONDC is giving instant discounts , which makes ONDC cheaper for first few orders.

Discount is also only ₹50. We usually get ₹80-120 discount with free delivery on Swiggy/Zomato. I've checked it and couldn't found a single item cheaper there when all other charges are included.

In Delhi there is difference after 50 discount. ONDC is not charging delivery fee and Packaging charge and Base Price is also less.
Therefore that 50 discount makes it cheaper.


Swiggy gives high discount because Base Price already have markup included.

Yaha to loot rhe bc. Hr restaurant me atleast ₹19 delivery charge h or 30-50 rs packaging charge 😂

I feel the same too
Many big restaurant chains are in ONDC hyderabad so they already have huge packaging charges, delivery charges in which delivery charges can be reduced to nil buy purchasing gold or one membership in swiggy/zomato but i can clearly see the base price difference which can cause price wars leading to better growth to ONDC and i wish new restaurants to be added to ONDC

Or Gurantee phir bhi nhi hai time pe Aajayega.


Swiggy me late hota hai toh compensate karte hai.

Mera swiggy instamart m ek order late hua thha .
Mujhe swiggy ne 50 off ka coupon diya.

As per tncs coupon valid only once but ptani kaise woh coupon unlimited times use ho raha thha.

Minimum 200 ke order pe delivery free hai.
M 200 ka order karta 50 off.

Ek din Woh coupon gaayab ho gaya😢
