Optimize credit card utilization

Hello everyone,

I'm re-evaluating my credit card spending. Below is my credit card portfolio. Could you please help me to optimize my credit card usage so that I could get maximum return?

Credit cards:
- HDFC Diners Black
- SC Ulitmate
- SBI Cashback
- Amazon ICICI
- FK Axis
- AMEX Platinum travel

Amazon - SBI/Apay (prefer sbi to reach waiver milestone) (5%)
Flipkart - SBI/Axis flipkart (prefer sbi to reach waiver milestone) (5%)
Insurance - SBI (through amazon) / Ultimate (3.3%)
Online shopping - SBI (5%)
Rent - Ultimate (3.3%)
Utilities - SBI(via amazon pay) (5%) / Ultimate (3.3%)
Fuel - HP pay wallet load(Ultimate) - 3.3 + 1 cashback(HP pay) + 1.18(waiver convenience fee) = 5.5%
Wallet loading - Ultimate (3.3%)
Amazon voucher - SBI (5%)
Offline payment - Ultimate (3.3%)

Diners black was my primary card till now but as I have now got SC Ultimate I don't see where I can use diners black. Not much of a traveler.

How to use hp pay wallet money? Does all pumps accept this?

yes actually 3 options to get payment released to pump.
1. scan their qr from hp pay app
2. generate paycode for bill value and say to them they will debit
3. from home generate some code by sms and within 30mins to use at pump (no card/mobile required just note the code....I never tried this)

Unlike other fuel cards, consider 3.33% reward rate for Ultimate (since no cashback/rebate involved here).

Ex: 1000 + 10 surcharge = 1010 = 33 RP = 3.33%

For others reward rate can be - surcharge.

Ex: Citi IndianOil
1000 + 10 - 10 = 1000/150 = 26 RP = 2.67%

For Citi IndianOil , is GST of 18% applicable on the Surcharge?

Not all HPCL but if u r in metro mostly all hpcl pumps have the app QR

Hello,
I think for many websites including flipkart / Amazon you can involve DCB and avail 10%. How? Simple, use DCB on smart buy to purchase giftcards which give 3X reward rates. Redeem those gift cards on the respective websites and use them for bill payments / purchase.. whatever..
This will however cause hurdles to your 2L annual milestone for SBI cashback.
