Thanks, seems like Axis card users paid their bill after 3 days but for me its not working. My bill date is 12th July, so I can check till 7th July and contact HDFC (and pay cc bill through another method in the meanwhile for this month to avoid payment reflect delay)
That's not what the link said 🤣 It said that you are doing something wrong, because you can start paying bills even after 2 hours

Okay. My question was that after entering OTP for payment "Biller status" failed, "Payment" failed. And there is no reason sms received for it.
Pay via debit card and when it asks for expiry date, enter your debit card's expiry. Not the credit card for which you're paying the bill. This is the most common mistake ppl make.

If the verification is pending, you'll not able to complete transaction using the debit card. So verification should be completed
Bhai konsa kar liya h!!

Hadd h hai yaar misinformation ki!!😡😡

Yaha CC payments settle bhi ho gye aur verification abhi bhi pending h... Debit Card transaction ke points bhi mil gye!!😤😤

At least T&C toh dekh liya Karo ek baar!!😑😑

He said his payment is already settled. But card is still in pending stage in HDFC Billpay. So your information isn't correct that it should be verified before payment.
He's right. I just checked now. The transaction was successful even the verification is pending.

But when I added my first credit card before 2 months, it was failing if used debit card

Bro, I am not that vague. My sister's HDFC platinum debit card is ending on 2025, the credit card I am trying to pay ends on 2028. But I understand this mistake can happen easily.

If payment is failing after entering OTP, then something's wrong on your end. Check the common reasons in my reply and also the email for tnx failure

So what expiry month & year did you actually enter when making the payment?

It asks for payment method after entering the amount (₹3722). The only payment options are either savings account or the debit card. I choose debit card (because 1% cb) and enter the debit card's expiry date. Clicked "pay" and it asks to enter the OTP. OTP receives on my sister's mobile (who is the owner of the debit card) and payment fails.
