Are you paying your credit card bill via 3rd party app or directly from your bank portal? then you are probably losing 1% cashback.
If you pay your credit card bill via HDFC Bank bill payment portal using your HDFC Bank debit card then you can earn 1% cashback, maximum Cashback capping depends on your debit card type.
Maximum Cashback Capping-
If you have HDFC Easyshop Platinum debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 750 per month, just pay Rs. 75,000 bill & get Rs. 750 cashback.
If you have HDFC Millennia debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 400 per month, just pay Rs. 40,000 bill & get Rs. 400 cashback.

Not only credit card bill, you can pay any utility bill you want (must be available on Hdfc bank bill payment portal) & get 1% cashback.

To Pay Bill Follow These Steps-
1. Login to your HDFC Bank Netbaning
2. Click on "BillPay & Recharge" tab -> Click on Continue



3. Now click on Add Biller
4. Select Credit Card
5. Now select your card provider name



6. Enter your credit card detail
7. Enter amount you want to pay
8. Select your debit card from drop down menu
9. Click on pay



10. Enter OTP & Done!

You'll receive 1% Cashback for the transaction, you can check & redeem your debit card Cashback from "Card Tab -> Debit Card -> Enquiry -> Cashback Enquiry & Redemption"

I tried paying CC Bill through Mobikwik using my HDFC DC, it says I can pay only upto 20k using that card in a day/month not sure but above 20k it's not working I tried. Any other way apart from this and HDFC Bill pay in which I can use my HDFC DC?
Like any verified method like Airtel, Paytm. I have tried Cred, HDFC doesn't give cashbacks for Cred DC Trns

I also got the error that I can pay upto 20K through my platinum debit card even after doing KYC.
Is this hard limit or we can have some workaround for this?

my experience, no single failed transaction. Very easy to pay from your debit card to any listed credit card using HDFC Billpay. I found SBI is quick in updating credit amount, ICICI and Axis took 3 days.

Pay everytime 20k cc bill.

I tried paying 20k again immediately after paying 20k. It's not allowing that it says you can only pay upto 20k by using this card. I think there's some time duration limit as well between the two transactions using same HDFC DC. FYI, I have also done 20k on one day and 5k on the other day in same month using family member's HDFC DC.

If you have HDFC regular savings account then you can update your existing debit card to all the available options as given in this link
Check there "Debit Card Charges" section. You will find "EasyShop Platinum" charges there for regular saving account holders.
