Pay Credit Card Bill Via HDFC Bill Payment Portal And Get 1% Cashback

Are you paying your credit card bill via 3rd party app or directly from your bank portal? then you are probably losing 1% cashback.
If you pay your credit card bill via HDFC Bank bill payment portal using your HDFC Bank debit card then you can earn 1% cashback, maximum Cashback capping depends on your debit card type.
Maximum Cashback Capping-
If you have HDFC Easyshop Platinum debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 750 per month, just pay Rs. 75,000 bill & get Rs. 750 cashback.
If you have HDFC Millennia debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 400 per month, just pay Rs. 40,000 bill & get Rs. 400 cashback.

Not only credit card bill, you can pay any utility bill you want (must be available on Hdfc bank bill payment portal) & get 1% cashback.

To Pay Bill Follow These Steps-
1. Login to your HDFC Bank Netbaning
2. Click on "BillPay & Recharge" tab -> Click on Continue



3. Now click on Add Biller
4. Select Credit Card
5. Now select your card provider name



6. Enter your credit card detail
7. Enter amount you want to pay
8. Select your debit card from drop down menu
9. Click on pay



10. Enter OTP & Done!

You'll receive 1% Cashback for the transaction, you can check & redeem your debit card Cashback from "Card Tab -> Debit Card -> Enquiry -> Cashback Enquiry & Redemption"

1. What is the difference between Easyshop Platinum DC and Easyshop classic platinum DC ?

No difference

2. Do we need to go to HDFC netbanking and pay CC bill with Platinum DC / Millennia DC from there or can we use HDFC Mobile banking app to do this too to have that 1%?
The HDFC mobile banking app have similar 'add biller' option in the home screen itself.

You can pay from NetBanking and App both to get 1% Cashback.

1. Both are same. Classic card is issued for classic customers
2. You can use both platforms for cashback

If you're intending to use only HDFC platform, then there is restriction of adding few billers. Whereas via MobiKwik we'll be able to pay every biller and still get the same 1% Cashback

No not through other apps. This has proven 100% working only for MobiKwik.

Received Cashback for 4th & 5th March payment just now.

yes received reaward points for 3rd march.
But, didn't receive RP for 6th march.
I think today they credited RP for transactions done on 3,4,5 march only.

You will get cashback on Freecharge transaction. But Freecharge will charge transaction fee if amount is more than Rs 1000.

BOB can be paid. I pay my BOB Select bill every month using HDFC Bill Pay from Netbanking
It is an instantaneous credit. I get a bill paid SMS from BOB even before I get the debit SMS from HDFC.

The last time I checked IDFC could not be paid through BillPay. Earlier IDFC couldn't be paid through Mobikwik either (maybe BIN issue?), but now it can be paid through Mobikwik using the HDFC card

Yes i started Freecharge for mobile recharge and once I get magnus they made me full kyc since I become axis customer

Technically, it will work on any app that will report the CC bill payment as a utility spend. It is due to this utility MCC that HDFC gives the 1% cashback. As of now, only Mobikwik and Freecharge have been identified for this, but there may be others out there that are yet to be found.
