Are you paying your credit card bill via 3rd party app or directly from your bank portal? then you are probably losing 1% cashback.
If you pay your credit card bill via HDFC Bank bill payment portal using your HDFC Bank debit card then you can earn 1% cashback, maximum Cashback capping depends on your debit card type.
Maximum Cashback Capping-
If you have HDFC Easyshop Platinum debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 750 per month, just pay Rs. 75,000 bill & get Rs. 750 cashback.
If you have HDFC Millennia debit card then you can earn 1% upto Rs. 400 per month, just pay Rs. 40,000 bill & get Rs. 400 cashback.

Not only credit card bill, you can pay any utility bill you want (must be available on Hdfc bank bill payment portal) & get 1% cashback.

To Pay Bill Follow These Steps-
1. Login to your HDFC Bank Netbaning
2. Click on "BillPay & Recharge" tab -> Click on Continue



3. Now click on Add Biller
4. Select Credit Card
5. Now select your card provider name



6. Enter your credit card detail
7. Enter amount you want to pay
8. Select your debit card from drop down menu
9. Click on pay



10. Enter OTP & Done!

Yes, looks like they removed it. I had paid the bill 10 days ago, but the BOB biller I added doesn't exist anymore. Tried adding it again, but they have removed the option. I hope this is just a glitch!

Sad.. Had a solid BoB Eterna usage strategy.. 42k monthly online usage for an effective 5.75% CB annually.. now the 1% HDFC part will go away if it doesn't come back Fingers crossed that its only a temporary glitch & not a permanent removal.

so what i said was true.. you have not used platinum dc, neither you were not aware of what you are answering .. The post you quoted/replied clearly mentions that platinum DC and you are replying YES.. usual classic from you

Reward rate of Platinum and Millennia is same in case of specified transaction type, as far as I know.

I use Millennia DC now but I did use HDFC Platinum DC for a long time, before I shifted to Millennia DC.

If anyone knows any different, they are free to correct me.

Both cards are completely different. And as far as I understand, no card will give cb for payment directly on BOB.

Millennia gives 1% upto only for wallet loads. Platinum gives 1% upto only for HDFC billpay (including mutual funds on hdfc billpay).

Millennia has 2.5% category also for online shopping, but that excludes all these sort of items like utilities etc.

Generally it takes 4 to 5 days and sometimes it takes more to credit the amount.
