Payment due - Figures in decimal

So at end of this billing cycle my total outstanding balance was 11,178.82

Now I got a message that statement was generated and billed amount is 11,179 (probably rounded off)

I saw amazon had cc bill payment offer so I paid 1,178.82 and total outstanding is now at 10k (as per the net banking app)

So my question is do I need to pay 10,000 before due date or 10,000.12? Also will I get charged for missing 0.12 if i ever miss such amount by any chance.

To avoid charges I can pay a rupee extra or two but my ocd wants me to have my credit limit perfectly balanced to last decimal point. Can someone please clarify?

just pay a rupee extra.... though the billed amount is the figure to follow, it's not worth risking late payment report, credit score, rbi escalation and whatnot.

All these calculations are handled by machines aka systems.

So go ahead and roud this up to next rupee for two and pay the amount.

It will automatically get deducted in your next cycle. And there is no harm in it.

But say, you do not do this and due to "system" seeing that there is a streching on revolving credit, you may be charged the interest for all the purchases made in that billing cycle as well as next one.

Which is absolutely nuts!

So go ahead and pay those extra ₹1 or ₹2 and avoid the pain down the road.👍

Yes will pay the a little over due amount. It doesn't make sense to risk so much fine.
