Paytm Citi Credit Card - Citi Axis transfer

so bascially i thought all citi including co-branded card will be transferred to axis bank but doesn't seem that way cause only citi card expect co-branded all customer have received mail for consent to transfer their relationship to axis, so should i close the paytm cc it has 3.37 laksh limit and 50,000 k spend for reversal , or they will send mail to co-branded citi card ? card has 1% cashback it was issued in jan 2019.

I tried for closing the card and the retention team credited 1000Rs to continue with my card. The card annual fee due is in January . It’s a useless card with 500 annual fee and I just have 85k limit .
thanks !!! got the same offer for 1000/- cashback to be credited in 10 working days, took the reference number in case cashback doesn't show up in statement

We had written to you in March 2022 about reaching an agreement with Axis Bank for the sale of Citi's consumer banking businesses in India, subject to regulatory approvals. As we move forward in this journey, our partnership with One97 Communication Ltd. (Paytm) for the co-brand Citi Paytm Credit Card comes to an end since it is not within the scope of migration to Axis Bank.

Please be assured that there will be no immediate impact on your Credit Card, and you can continue enjoying all the features and services on your card. Further for a seamless transition, both Citibank & Paytm will respectively reach out to you seeking your interest for alternate Credit Cards, offering exclusive features & benefits.

I Mentioned already they not let customers go away, https://www.online.citibank.co.in/credit-card/paytm-credit-card/termination-letter-faq/index.htm

How axis offer us? nobody received any offer from axis so far, citibank may offer their card and we can convert this to axis , myself I already having 3 cards with axis bank and both sbi and hdfc also having so no use for me ! Good bye to paytm and citibank

all paytm card are worst 🤣🤣🤣
Citi card was pretty good for Paytm spends specially rent and insurance payments. They used to offer 1% charges, 100 Paytm cashback and 3% card cashback for rent last year. It was my most used card. Now a days Paytm charges almost 2.4% for rent and is not useful.

And Citi card always worked for Citi offers too.

Even i feel paytm citi was good

Based on above information:

Paytm will offer SBI or HDFC partnership credit card.

Note: SBI Paytm not work for 10% offers.

Citi will offer any of their core cards (rewards or IndianOil) and transfer your account to Axis.

Seems like you'll get 2 cards for 1 card, but have to pay both cards instead 1.
I will personally not accept anything from Citi or Paytm now, unless offering LTF card.

I already have rewards card, even that I will close, if they don't convert LTF.
