Paytm - Fuel Wallet to HP Pay Wallet and LPG Cylinder Booking

This is for those interested in "How to utilise Paytm cashback saved in Paytm FUEL WALLET " to book a HP LPG Cylinder..

This HP Pay wallet can also be used for various purchases at HP Petrol Stations where HP Pay is accpeted...
This way you can utilise your Paytm Fuel Wallet without wasting it.
You can also book HP LPG Cylinder for your friends and family thru HP Pay App....

When we add money / pay for purchases in HP Pay using Paytm Wallet , it actually takes any amount lying in FUEL Wallet first and then takes any deficient amount from the actual Paytm Wallet.. i.e. it debits Fuel Wallet first and then Paytm Wallet if necessary. All this is automatic.

To load from paytm fuel wallet, it charges 1% + GST , at the same time paytm gives some CB.. At the end it evens out.. HP Pay also gives some Happy Coins ...

For a load of Rs 950 into HP Pay from Paytm Fuel Wallet. It charged Rs.961 an gave a CB of Rs 15 in Paytm .
For Cylinder booking of Rs 955, it gave 27 Happy coins equivalnet to Rs 6.75

I am posting the screenshots of both HP Pay and Patym Wallet .. all are self explanatory...

Note:
1)While registering for HP Pay App, please use same phone number that is used for HP LPG Booking, then it will fetch your Gas Agency details automatically..
2) The beauty is, you can book LPG Cylinder for others also, like for your friend / family

okay very good.. I don't use it that often.. we can use the Fuel Wallet to pay for fuel as well where Paytm POS machine is available

I have not linked my PayTM wallet to bank account. I dont have PayTM UPI. But I load money to PayTM wallet for recharge or swiggy payment etc.
I have not tried scan and pay anywhere since this account is not UPI linked.
Will Scan and Pay work on scanning PayTM QR code or POS machine at petrol pumps.

Tried it today. Paid by scanning Paytm QR code at a petrol pump. ₹85 in my Paytm fuel wallet + remaining amount from my was main wallet was used. Thanks.

And also, AFAIK, paytm fuel wallet never expires. So , paytm CB in the form of fuel wallet is not a wasted cb as many people think of. It is actually equivalent to real money, almost...
Only caveat is, we need to find paytm qr code at a petrol station

Trying to login to HP pay app from more than 24 hrs but not getting OTP SMS. Any solution ?
Google play store has many nagative reviews about the app and one guy mentioned he was also having same login OTP SMS issue from 2 months.

I just used 300 fuel cashback on hp pay. Try after a few minutes. Just add extra amount needed to paytm wallet (955-fuel cb) + around 12 rupees (convenience fee). If you use credit card to load extra money while using hp pay then you wil be charged more convenience fee.

I have issue with app login. After entering registered mobile number, I'm not getting login OTP SMS from more than 24 hrs. No issues with other incoming/outgoing SMS. Tried reinstalling the app and phone reboot.

Had ₹120 in paytm fuel wallet. Was able to use it with the remaining balance at a petrol pump today. They had no problem in me using paytm. Now only ₹150 left in fastag as security balance. Can this be utilised at toll booths.

They didn't mention specific reason but mentioned as Fine-tuning was done from their end.

I have registered with HP Pay more than a year ago, didn't do any transaction and uninstalled the app. Recently installed and tried to login. I guess, my account status was kind of inactive, they had to activate it. I have raised the issue via Twitter in the afternoon and next day morning, it was resolved. to Twitter support.
