Paytm push message for legal action against credit card bill payment

Hi

in April 2023, I made a credit card bill payment through PAYTM

due to technical glitch, they refund the amount to my bank account and also credit to my credit card.

now they gave pop up message about legal notice, if I don't pay remaining amount

now today I got call from personal number to pay exceed amount. They have all information about my transaction.

the send me a link of paytm, to pay exceed amount.

Should it safe to pay???

Haan mera recently ICICI ne kata tha. Tbse sara fund nikal k rkh lia usse. Sirf Rupay Platinum ke liye deposit krta or use krleta Friday ko.

I just did self transfer using BHIM and Account Number and IFSC code.

It is counted under UPI txn.

This is the format of UPi ID for UPI Transfer using Account Number +IFSC

Fi app. UPI ID ni bhai bank transfer select krne pe IMPS aata.

Aree bhaii FI toh Banking App ho gaya.
Bank transfer select karega toh IMPS/NEFT/RTGS select karne bolega ya by default IMPS use karega

GPAY se IMPS hua woh mujhe hazam nhi ho raha hai😅

Haan mai bhul gya tha ki Fi app se kia😂

But Fi ka jo payment page hai wo powered by UPI dikhata. Wahi pe usme b Gpay jsa Bank transfer option hai. Isliye wo same hai aisa lga mujhe. Even wo UPI PIN b dalne bolta hai.

I don't know how, but in my case
I can do fund transfer to any person or shop with account number and IFSC code through any app like GPAY, PHONEPE, PAYTM, MOBIKWIK etc.

But when I tried to make payment to paytm's icici bank, all app failed

So as visheshbhai said, I do payment with my imobile app, it's easily done.

@parasf bro, is your account unfreezed now? And, how many days it took after you sent the payment proof on email?

Faced same issue.
Contact on twitter.
They will share Bank Account details.
Do the NEFT to the shared Bank Account.

Also they will share E-Mail, send the Txn details and UTR via E-Mail.

Then again ask twitter team that E-Mail with Txn detials already sent.

They will verify and your Account gets unblocked.

Also the Call you received is geniune.

But do not pay on any link, pay via NEFT as I Described..

There is technical glitich in April'23, those bhen ke bhai, giving us warning for legal notice , when those Akhand hutiye itself refunded the Amount and even after refund is generated, transferred the Amount to Credit Card.

But neither I did recieve any call or letter regarding payment I even mailed them what should I do now as they have filed a case for same

Yes, on same day they unfreeze my account
when I do neft through banking app.(not UPI app)

They sent to court notice or sent letter to pay amount???
