PayTM UPI Lite is now available for all

Just open your PayTM app and check for UPI Lite option, click on it, setup and use.

Update:

My PayTM app version is v10.23

You can find UPI Lite in 'UPI & Payment Settings', 'Balance & History' options and on Home page.

Don’t have paytm own bank account
Will my lite work?

AFAIK SBI Bank, Kotak Bank, Paytm Payments Bank have UPI Lite enabled whereas Axis Bank, HDFC Bank do not. I have these accounts, so I know about these only.

When I was setting up paytm lite, it gave me option to link the bank account. I have icici, hdfc and paytm bank account linked to paytm. Out of these icici showed as unsupported and i picked paytm bank instead of hdfc just because it had a banner of offer. But now I am unable to change the source account for upi lite. There should be an option to change

Disable UPI Lite. Setup again and select HDFC (if HDFC is available).

ICICI Bank supports UPI lite now. Just activated the UPI lite wallet in PayTM

PayTM puts advt that cashback upto 100 Rs on activation of UPI lite but all I got is some scratch card which gives some 6 runs and asking to enter some match. Pathetic 😡

upi lite has been there for quite a while in BHIM. Money can be moved anytime from bank to upi lite wallet, max is 2000rs. But a single transaction cant exceed 200rs. this is because upi lite doesnt ask for UPI pin
