A usefull Feature for Doing Offline Txns.

This feature will easily beat Axis Ace 2% on offline spending by using Right Set of Cards to Load Payzapp Wallet like AU LIT/BOB SNAPDEAL/BOB ETERNA......

If anyone has high Offline Spends and till now using Axis Ace for 2% , this feature is going to be Very useful.

I am creating a thread after a Very Long time, since no one created thread on this Topic yet even when feature was rolled out Few Days Back

You have to select Default Card.

Payzapp will support only HDFC DC/CC/PAYZAPP PREPAID CARD.

Select Anyone as Default Card.

It should work fine with Contactless Enabled POS

I only see set as default in prepaid wallet section. I don't see option to make other card default or change this default to something else

Why you are paying using ur NFC payzapp wallet, you can buy gift cards using hdfc cards/gyftr, and pay at that supermarket, which atleast gives 5% cashback...

But you can't add giftcard money to prepaid cards and use it for unlimited cashbacks. You only get like 100 per month as reward after you use tap & pay. tell me if I am wrong.

Edit: yea, wallet reload gives you cb depending on card. Miracle!! no?

Purchased fuel at BPCL pump, worth ₹1851and they additionally charged ₹21.84 from payzapp wallet. So no point using this method at petrol pumps.

I have been able to use Tap and Pay of payzapp wallet only on HDFC pos machine

Used today at BPCL petrol pump, pos machine was phonepay, but charged additionally 1%+gst

I use indie acc UPI.
Sidha 3% direct coins cb. no Surcharge ka jhanjhat.. uper se ASV lo to uspe 3% discount alag se. 😛
It's enough. Live a peaceful life.

In Tirupati, PayZapp failed many times even for simple scan n pay (forget tap n pay). Whatever balance was there in wallet then was used with some difficulty. Other standalone Apps like GoKiwi, GPay, Phonepe n YesPayNext work flawlessly.

So, uninstalled PayZapp. And, bid goodbye forever. Most un-dependable n very embarrassing out there if it doesn't work as intended. Least priority for me of whatever CB it promises.

Payzapp scan and pay as a UPI app (where money is debited from bank account) has never failed me.
But tap and pay (where money is debited from payzapp wallet) is a different story. So far, it works only on few POS machines. If its HDFC POS, then definitely it will work. When using tap and pay, touch the mobile on the pos for 2-3 seconds. Only then it will work.

Yes. Surcharge is taken. So I refuel for ₹500. Surcharge is ₹11.84 IIRC. I think surcharge is same till ₹1000. So you can fuel for ₹1000 or ₹500. Anyway we get ₹100 f/b ₹200 ASV so no harm in paying 11.84x3 as surcharge.

Initially I thought there was no surcharge since its not shown in payzapp passbook. But its there.

Gone, hdfc started charging on wallet reloads

Very Bad move. Instead of promoting it as a wallet which can be used for day to day purchases with the help of tap and pay feature, they have downgraded payzapp wallet into a money rotation instrument.

Very substandard move from a reputed bank like hdfc.

Maybe they resorted to such cheap moves because of the poor adoption of payzapp wallet by hdfc customers
