I had 3 sbi credit cards, currently 2 , I have pre approved offer for fyf simply save( useless for me) , so one can have 3 cards again from sbi.

SBI Cards can't. Their over leverage system is created by RBI and SBI Card is following them strictly.

if u close 3rd card. then whats the problem in issuing new card. i am unable to understand. am i missing something

3 card issue hone ke baad new card nahi dena chahta SBI even ek card close bhi karwane ke baad bhi. Deepak ko tag Kiya hu wo explain karega kya issue hua tha.

thats y i wanted to know. i had 3 card. but 3rd i closed long back. this might be reason they are rejecting my cashback application.

My case is different. Long back I closed 1 SBI card and upgraded 1 card. As per customer care team, I had only one active SBI card. But my Cash back card application got rejected at that time. Upon enquiring, I got to know that even though I had only one SBI card, but as per their sales department, it's showing 3 cards in their system due to some glitch.
Later I called and informed to customer care exact issue and they rectified it within 2-3 days. My cash back card application was approved in next attempt within a week. There was no cooling period from previous rejection.
The person who called for KYC or SBI credit card employee from branch will get exact reason of rejection in their tab, should approach him and rectify the issue

Then you are not over leveraged. Generally If your total credit limit is more than your annual income then you are over leveraged.

Depends on your profile if you are eligible for credit limit increase then they will assign the same in the new card or they will split limit from the existing card.

The sprint link is not working, it gets redirected to homepage and in sprint homepage there is no phonepe cards available to proceed

Update: It worked today and was able to apply, but after entering the details, it mentioned that representative will contact you for more details.

Then wait for physical kyc and two verification calls. Don't forget to check card variant before e-signing the application form.

Thanks for the info. I tried with my brother's pan but I live in rural area. Application got stuck. Emailed the team let's see what happens. Btw do you know if you can put your frnds address? As I already hold SBI CB and SimplySAVE. Do they still gonna do physical verification?

If you didn't get bank account verification option then they will definitely do physical kyc.

How does SBI know my annual income? I wanna check over leverage case. But i dont think my income is present in CIBIL
