Okay I've to clear this now. People are getting confused.
Let's say I've a bill of 30k. I paid 15k from the provider website.
Not the remaining 15k I used to pay with Apay.
And YES it allows the payment. This is not splitting the bill per say. ( well, technically it is but its not prohibited.)
I paid some bill directly to the provider. They then adjust my outstanding bill. Now Apay or Payzapp or Gpay they fetch the outstanding bill. Now, this is not the case with PhonePe. It's still fetching the original amount and not the outstanding amount. This could be the problem with PhonePe or they might just be a bit slow in updating. Let's see if it gets fetched till tomorrow.
